SILENCE & IGNORANCE!!!

The most problematic situation can be avoided by keeping silent. This silence, is not the failure to argue but it is our strength to bounce back with more knowledge about the subject. And this would sometimes lead us to the victory of the argument or at least a satisfaction that the relationship is maintained by not losing the temper at the very situation. Always, keeping silent to something is not an attitude of being lazy & Ignoring certain conversations are wise, as it gives a clear statement that the discussion is not of the person’s interest.   The Silence sends a clear warning to the person being ignored about his limits and also it definitely gives the ignoring person his rights.   As the Karma is a boomerang, Silence is also a cycle when the person will start searching for the reason for ignoring the other and the ignored gets a chance to correct himself.   Silence and Ignorance are just the same when someone is not in a good mood to accept the situation, when someone is in

An Expensive Tea!!!

I took a flight, on a Wednesday night, to see my sister’s wedding with my eyesight, I landed Kochi, on the Thursday bright, but dozed off loosing the Jet lag fight. I woke up in the evening, when my Mom brought Tea, and prayed for a wonderful weekend guarantee. Then came a news, like a Tsunami from the sea, “No Flights from Saturday to the UAE” My mother enquired, what I will like for the dinner, my head went like a spinner, I was upset from my inner, and waved bye at home till the next summer. Then I rushed to the airport like a child, got a ticket as God was kind. Friday morning, I reached Abu Dhabi, 'I will take you home’ promised my Cabbie But he dropped me until Jebal Ali, from there I was a Khali Bali. I took a metro, then a tram, then a bus to reach my address. Saturday I Quarantined, Sunday I pranked, Monday my emotions were unpacked. I was asked about the weekend I spent, I said, It was an expensive Tea, my Friend!

Upgradation & Updation!!!

I asked my Team head from UK to review a document with title ‘Upgradation of System’ He wrote me back the word ‘Upgradation’ itself is wrong and denied to review. I said it’s the title from a client in South Asian Country, we cannot change it. This was not the first time he was worried about these words, ‘Upgradation’& ‘Updation.’ I wanted to know what was wrong as I was using these words from childhood.  I came across a page: https://english.stackexchange.com where someone’s justification was humorous. He wrote: Quote It's an informal word created by informal English users who collectively influence large group of users/people. Most of these words originated from India (eg. upgradation, updation). Basically, it is used by English users (Indians) confidently thus influencing the other non-familiar English user that it is a formal word. With India's population these words had become common through the years. Nevertheless, these words are not formally acceptable to native Eng

Strangers in the House!!!

A man and a woman dated, loved and got married. For them everything seemed to be falling in place when they started their new life of togetherness. They wandered romantically. Spent exotic life. They just flew like free birds. But every bird has to make a nest to rest and settle down. They both too moved into their new nest, thinking of a happy life ahead. One thing they forgot to realize that soon they were going to be the strangers in their own house. They left no stone unturned to impress each other. Some issues were serious but were ignored for the sake of love. But all the ignored nasty stuffs came as a debating points for the young confused people. Where did it all start from? Both did have different ideas of life. As they grew up in different culture it was the first barrier. Then came the family and then the person themselves. It's really hard to move in with someone whom you don't know completely. Its even harder to adjust with the habits which you are never
